The number of exceptions to this that have turned out well is very small indeed.

The reason is that no-one really understands the historical roots of Mallorcan architecture. And only very few pay homage to the sort of minimalism that integrates well into the landscape.

There is a lack of courage to be “modern” and form a harmonic symbiosis with an extraordinary landscape.
